POLONETS Embroidered Shirts in the Rhythm of the Metropolis

Forget the stereotype that vyshyvanka is only for traditional ethnic holidays. Stylish embroidered shirts by Oksana Polonets are about daily rhythm, confidence, and harmony with the big city. Among the most expressive outfits is a textured cotton jacket adorned with delicate embroidered stripes along the seams — a traditional technique from Slobozhanshchyna. The look is completed with silk trousers in a trendy sand tone, adding movement, femininity, and elegance. A silk scarf, loosely tied in the hair and matching the trousers, provides a romantic finishing accent. Understated, yet striking — perfect for business meetings or a relaxed coffee date with a friend.

For a youthful street-style outfit, we chose a classic vyshyvanka with red-and-black embroidery characteristic of the Sumy region. Paired with wide denim shorts, sporty shoes, sheer socks, and a lightweight scarf, the look takes on a new sound — easy, bold, and on trend.

Another experiment — an oversized men’s embroidered shirt paired with lace shorts, sheer tights, and suede block-heel sandals. A daring, dynamic, and unexpectedly fashionable outfit that proves embroidered shirts are no longer just folklore — they’re modern city fashion.
